"The Jeweled Sea"

Your assignment is to read the Chinese fable "The Jeweled Sea." I will put you into groups and you can read the tale aloud. After you have finished the story, you are to identify elements of the plot (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution).

Next, I will assign each group a part of the story to illustrate. Each group will have a piece of posterboard and any necessary drawing tools. Afterwards, you will present and explain your drawing to the class.
